New Years Eve adventure

By: EIleen , Cuba Posted: 2017-01-09

What a great building and location, were able to see all the new years Eve activities, speeches, revolution memories and wonderful dance shows from Ballet to african dance to modern dance. The building does need a lot of TLC though - especially the air-conditioning system needs a deep cleaning or replacement - the smell that came with the air was aweful. New beds, real pillows, new curtains, and a good renovation/paint job would bring this hotel to the next level. But its Cuba and nothing comes easy there;)

Welcome to my site dedicated to the Hotel Casa Granda in Santiago de Cuba City. I am "poco a poco" researching and updating it with the aim to provide as complete as possible record of the hotel's ancient and recent history; bearing in mind that the goings-on today may one day be of historical interest.

My site is NOT the official website of the current hotel operator, and is by no means endorsed by them; but I am grateful for their help with the research.

You can make from this site room reservations through the Bizloco eTravel System operated by Cubaism Ltd.

Best wishes for 2017
